Knohopack is ready for the future

Knohopack has expanded its machine park with a printer that can print bio film. Therefore, Knohopack is replacing the current PE bags with bio bags. In this way, we help our clients meet the ever-increasing demand for sustainable packaging.
- CO2-neutral and compostable
- This new film consists of more than 80% renewable raw materials and is made from sugar cane pulp. Since sugar cane absorbs large amounts of CO2 during its growth, we can speak of a CO2-neutral process in production. Moreover, the film is 100% compostable at home and can be disposed of with residual waste.
- Meets all standards
- Every bio bag that we bring onto the market meets the European standard for compostable packaging EN13432 and can be recognized by the OK Compost logo in Belgium and the Kiemplant logo in the Netherlands.
  
  Do not doubt the quality of the product: the foil is as strong and flexible as an ordinary plastic bag and has a 30% stronger structure.
  
  The foil is provided with a white coating on which we can print full colour and thus fully personalize. Thanks to the coating, we need 30% less ink, and thanks to the water-based ink (without heavy metals or ecotoxic substances), this is done in bright and livelier colors.
